**Required Experience and Certifications:** - 2 years of experience, specifically in a Level III trauma center at minimum. Candidates with Level I & II experience are preferred and accepted. - Required certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). **Preferred Qualifications and Experience:** - Previous experience with the Meditech charting system is preferred. - Paragon and Practice Partner experience is also preferred. **Licensure and References:** - Active state or Compact license required at the time of submission. - Two supervisor references completed within the past 18 months are required. **Skills and Competency:** - Experience and skills in the following areas: abdominal pain, acute psychosis, asthma, blood product administration, emergency medications, general Emergency Department for combined adult/pediatrics, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, managing/applying splints, mental/behavioral health conditions, obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG, ortho trauma, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, psychiatric hold, starting and maintaining IVs, suicidal patient care, and triage. **Other Requirements:** - Flu Vaccine is required with no exemptions. - Accepts first-time travelers.
