Vice President of Safety, Health, and Environmental

Position Summary As a Vice President of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E), you will develop and lead strategy implementation of our “Zero Harm Journey”. This role will direct the design, development, and implementation of corporate environmental safety policies, standards, and programs that enable compliance while allowing corporate groups, businesses, and categories to meet their business needs and goals. The position is located at the St. Louis corporate headquarters. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison with Nestlé Zone Americas Safety Leadership, coordinating communication, initiatives, and programs. Work with internal SH&E legal counsel to ensure corporate interpretation and implementation of legislation and regulation. Partner with legal and government relations to provide awareness, education, and interaction to third parties on existing and proposed rules. Lead and manage a corporate team of direct reports. Establish, interpret, and report on relevant KPIs, using corrective actions based on them. Manage all aspects of safety strategy, policy, compliance, audit, training development, implementation, and validation. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or other industrial environment. 7+ years of safety leadership in a corporate environment supporting multiple facility types. Experience leading an organization through a safety culture change that sustainably delivered strong Recordable Incident Rate measures. Experience and understanding of best‑in‑class training routines for SH&E and environmental sustainability. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental or related discipline preferred. Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
