Print and Mail Services Associate
Shreveport, LA (onsite)
12+Month Contract (Temp to perm)
M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Responsible for high-volume production print, mail, and document services including copying, scanning, binding, finishing, shipping/receiving, mail distribution, and basic equipment maintenance in a fast-paced, detail-critical environment. Works closely with site management and supports customer-facing services with strong accuracy, organization, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume production copiers/printers and perform binding and finishing (cutting, stapling, drilling, folding, shrink-wrapping, stacking, tape use, scales)
• Perform scanning, imaging, copying, and document production from start to finish
• Conduct daily equipment checks, ensure quality output, clear paper jams, and report issues to technicians
• Perform basic troubleshooting of copiers and production equipment and escalate issues as needed
• Set up and maintain equipment (paper, toner, supplies) and ensure machines are fully operational
• Maintain convenience copiers, ensuring proper function, cleanliness, and supply levels
• Track job logs, meter readings, and maintain records for reports and inventory control
• Calculate job charges and generate production/service reports as required
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail, fax distribution, and general mailroom functions
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying packing slips and selecting proper materials
• Deliver completed print jobs to designated customer locations (on-site and off-site)
• Distribute office supplies, mail, and faxes to personnel or drop-off points
• Assist with file services including filing, purging, scanning, and archiving documents
• Support meeting room and conference room setups as requested
• Assist with building support tasks including occupant moves and light maintenance/cleaning
• May provide temporary/occasional reception support and handle customer inquiries on job status
• Respond to and coordinate service calls from customers
• Use production and office equipment including copiers, fax machines, postage meters, cutters, joggers, staplers, shrink-wrap machines, and PCs
• May perform shipping dock and mailroom support tasks as needed
• Follow all instructions, maintain accuracy, and ensure quality control of all work

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 2 years related copy/print production experience preferred
• Basic computer skills including MS Office proficiency
• Working knowledge of copier/production equipment and basic repair/troubleshooting preferred
• Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and document handling processes
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, and job requests accurately
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production-heavy environment with strict quality standards
