Customer Logistics Manager Position Description: The Customer Logistics Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of operations and account management in the Dedicated Transportation Solutions business vertical. The role focuses on leading direct reports and achieving daily operational objectives. Job Category Logistics Essential Functions Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling Health and safety management Compliance with state, local and federal regulations Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned Skills & Abilities Work effectively within international functional teams High‑level analytical thinking for unusual and difficult problems Demonstrated technical and professional skills in the relevant area Off‑shift support during critical network disruptions or crises Strong oral and written communication skills Maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels Work independently and as part of a team Adapt to a fast‑paced environment and drive results Multi‑task, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up practices Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain Minimum two years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field Minimum one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) – required; advanced proficiency preferred Advanced knowledge of logistics industry, Customer/Company regulations and manufacturing/production processes Intermediate knowledge of supply chain management components Benefits Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development Regional and local resources for support and growth Stable work environment within a Fortune 500 company with 85+ years of history and 36,000+ employees worldwide 12‑week paid maternity leave Additional paid time off for military veterans Compensation Salary range $65,000 – $70,000 annually.
