Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs (Central Region)Location: Austin or Dallas, TexasYour RoleAs the regional Corporate Affairs lead, you'll serve as the primary communications partner for Digital Realty's Central markets. Working closely with Government Affairs, business leaders, media, and community stakeholders, you'll help shape our public narrative, support strategic initiatives, manage reputational risks, and ensure consistent messaging across the region. This role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining media relations, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement to drive business impact.What You'll DoLead corporate affairs and media relations activities across the Central U.S. regionPartner with Government Affairs to align communications with policy and regulatory prioritiesDevelop media strategies, pitch stories, and manage press inquiriesCreate engaging content for press releases, executive messaging, social media, web, and internal communicationsSupport events, community engagement programs, executive visits, and milestone announcementsMonitor media coverage and identify emerging reputational risks and opportunitiesDevelop thought leadership opportunities for regional leadersTrack and report on media performance and communications impactWhat You’ll NeedBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or corporate affairsPrefer a background in technology, infrastructure, real estate, or data center industriesStrong writing, storytelling, and content creation skillsExperience building relationships with media, government affairs teams, and senior stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong judgment, organization, and problem-solving skillsOccasional travel throughout the Central U.S. region and other company locations as neededPrefer experience supporting government affairs, public policy, or regulatory initiativesA bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
