Pediatric Physical Therapist (Part-Time) Reports to: Clinic Director Healthcare setting: Clinic Medical specialties: Pediatrics Work Location: On-site Position Summary: We are seeking Pediatric Physical Therapists who are committed to promoting motor development, mobility, and overall physical function while creating a welcoming environment that supports every child and family. Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist Bachelor level degree or above Licensed in the state of Missouri Criminal Background Check Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with the pediatric population Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability Collaborative team member Enthusiastic and ethical Enjoy working with children Professional and works with integrity Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion Responsibilities Conduct physical therapy evaluations of clients referred to physical therapy Conduct re-evaluations of patients on a regular basis, as recommended Conduct 1:1 sessions according to individual needs Participate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progress Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to physical therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning physical therapy problems Operate all therapy equipment according to manufacturers and clinic guidelines Prepare reports of evaluation and reevaluations Prepare other reports relative to physical therapy Maintain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes Maintain current daily notes Assist with program development Plan and conduct special education programs related to physical therapy for staff and the community upon request Attend meetings and training as requested Adhere to policies and procedures of Children With Opportunity Assist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the clinic Portray a positive attitude and maintain a customer and coworker satisfaction level that limits adverse situations or complaints Promote clinic philosophies, generating team spirit and creating and maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction, maximizes productivity and profitability Job Type: Part‑time (up to 24 hours per week) Pay: $45.00 per hour Availability: Potential to float and support other locations as needed Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan 401(k) Matching Employee Assistance Plan Flexible Schedule Collaborative work environment NOTE: The preceding statements describe the nature and level of assignments normally given job incumbents.
