Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including oxytocin and epidural support coordination
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, delivery expectations, and postpartum care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Prior clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
• Ability to work night shift hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric EMR systems
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
