About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. Must-Have: IV start skills required. Epic experience required. Previous travel experience preferred. Description: This position offers three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The estimated patient ratios are not available. Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Skills include IV start and Labor and Delivery experience. Candidates may be required to float to different units as needed. Knowledge of Epic charting system is essential. Staffing may involve working with a Level 4 Labor and Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month. Responsibilities may include the administration of blood products, cervical cerclage, non-stress tests, and recovery from C-sections. Additional duties may involve the use of external and internal fetal monitoring, labor assessment, and pain management. Candidates must provide two professional references, including at least one from a formal leadership capacity. External candidates should be aware of the urgency associated with the credentialing process. All candidates must have a valid license available during the application process.
