Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in a float or multi-department role. * BLS - Basic Life Skills * Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience. Responsibilities: * Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and ensuring a sterile environment. * Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens for laboratory testing. * Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. * Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits, providing clear communication regarding procedures and instructions. * Support front office operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, and processing insurance information.
