️‍⚕️ RN Nurse Lead – Labor & Delivery



Templeton, CA

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Lead for the Labor & Delivery department in Templeton, California . This leadership role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse with strong clinical skills and prior supervisory experience.

Position Details

• Shift: Night Shift

• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts

• Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Schedule Type: Rotating / No set schedule

Requirements

• Active California RN License

• BLS Certification – Required

• ACLS Certification – Required

• NRP Certification – Required

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification (within the last 2 years) – Required

• 5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience

• Charge Nurse experience – Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Labor & Delivery nursing team during night shifts

• Coordinate patient care and staffing assignments

• Support clinical decision-making and patient safety initiatives

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and emergent situations

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Mentor and support nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care
