They build genuine connections while helping clients feel safe, encouraged, involved, and valued. Your responsibilities may include: Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement Assisting respectfully with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Supporting safe mobility and transfers Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks Performing light housekeeping and laundry Running errands and shopping for groceries Providing safe, reliable transportation Offering medication reminders—no hands-on medication administration Observing and reporting changes in a client’s physical condition or behavior Following emergency procedures and established safety protocols Protecting client privacy and maintaining professional standards Completing required training and professional-development programs What You’ll Bring to FirstLight At least one year of verifiable caregiving experience A valid driver’s license Current auto insurance for the vehicle used while working The ability to commute to clients throughout Loveland and surrounding areas Strong communication and adaptability Basic cooking and housekeeping skills Empathy, kindness, patience, trustworthiness, and dependability A genuine desire to serve and enrich the lives of others The ability to pass a background check and drug screening CPR/First Aid certification preferred Dementia-care experience preferred Available Shifts Day shifts Night shifts Weekend and holiday opportunities Join Our Culture of Care Bring your experience, compassion, and heart for service to FirstLight Home Care of Loveland . Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Paid orientation Paid training Referral program ing assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Skills in basic household support such as meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and safe use of household equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, offer companionship, and listen actively. Reliability in following care plans, documenting services, and reporting client status or concerns to supervisors or family members. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism when supporting individuals living with illness, dementia, or age-related challenges. Ability to work on-site in Fairfield, OH, including availability for full-time schedules that may include evenings or weekends. Previous caregiving, home care, or related experience is preferred; relevant training or certification (such as PCA, HHA, or CNA) is an advantage.
