Start Date: ASAP

End Date/Duration: Ongoing / Open-ended

Shift: Day Shift, 36 hours/week, with potential overtime for sick/PTO coverage

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certs: Kansas RT license, NBRC CRT/RRT, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP

Experience: Minimum 6 months in critical care preferred; new graduates with clinical check-offs encouraged to apply

Hourly Pay Range: $28.57 $37.84 (based on experience)

Shift Differentials: Evenings +$2.30, Nights +$3.75, Weekends +$3.00

What You'll Do

• Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification.
• Work independently in critical care areas after completed check-offs.
• Administer all modes of respiratory therapy across hospital departments.
• Assess patient needs, suggest appropriate therapy under RT protocols.
• Mentor and train students and new staff members.
• Support coverage during sick/PTO staff shortages with potential OT.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

What You Need

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• Kansas RT license and NBRC CRT/RRT credential
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Basic computer knowledge
• Minimum 6 months experience in critical care, or new graduates with clinical check-offs

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
• Additional respiratory therapy education or work experience
• Prior clinical instruction experience
