Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Requirements
- RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications
- Must have taken a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical as needed and care for pediatric patients
- PALS certification must be obtained prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes in fetal condition.
- Administer medications and assist with procedures as directed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.

- Orientation: Monday virtual orientation
- Client can cancel 2 shifts per month at no cost to the client and no pay to the Traveler. Minimum 2-hour notice required.
- If the employee is called back to work during a regularly scheduled shift, it will be paid at the callback rate.
