Overview We are looking for an AM Culinary Supervisor to lead our Culinary Team at Hyatt at Olive 8 as part of the Tidal + restaurant. The role requires a deep understanding of kitchen operations within the hotel, supervision of the restaurant kitchens, and specific knowledge and experience on the Breakfast Line. The shift schedule is from 05:00 a.m. to 02:30 p.m. The Supervisor is responsible for producing a consistent, high‑quality product that meets and exceeds guest needs in a timely manner while supervising hourly cooks in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Produce consistent, quality dishes that meet guest expectations. Supervise hourly cooks and maintain a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Provide training and support for the culinary team. Assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of a Sous Chef. Understand basic cost control and make resourceful decisions. Qualifications 4 years of prior line experience in banquet and restaurant kitchens (preferred). Culinary leadership experience (preferred). Culinary degree or related hotel experience (preferred). Experience in high‑volume kitchens, including breakfast lines and/or From‑Scratch cooking. Ability to perform basic, intermediate, and advanced cooking skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while standing/walking for long periods. Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight. Strong communication skills. Open schedule flexibility to include mornings, weekends, and holidays required. Must be available to work from 05:00 a.m. to 02:30 p.m. Understanding of food safety standards and possession of a Food Handler’s Card. Hourly Rate The hourly rate range for this position is $32.70 per hour to $33.35 per hour. The starting rate is $32.70 per hour. For colleagues who have remained in the Culinary Supervisor position with Hyatt for four years or more, the rate is $33.35 per hour.
