Development Director

Leading major gift fundraising initiatives, the full-time salaried Development Director will collaborate with senior leadership to expand donor engagement and strengthen development systems while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Plan and execute the organization's major gift fundraising strategy, including donor prioritization and engagement Maintain and cultivate relationships with major donors through communication, meetings, and outreach efforts Create and manage development materials, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals Required qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit or political fundraising, with at least 3 years in major gift solicitation Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in creating donor-facing materials Proficient in relationship management and outreach for major donor and foundation fundraising Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with CRM systems such as SalesForce
