IT Project Analyst

6-12 months contract with possibility of extensions Required Skills and Expertise 2-4 years of experience in project financial analysis, project coordination, resource management, or project support within an IT environment. Strong understanding of IT project financial management, including CAPEX vs. OPEX, budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, accruals, and financial reporting. Experience tracking and reporting on project budgets, actuals, forecasts, resource utilization, labor costs, and project expenses. Knowledge of project accounting processes, including purchase orders (POs), invoices, vendor spend tracking, cost centers, charge codes, and financial reconciliations. Ability to analyze financial and project data, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, financial reporting, dashboard creation, and data analysis. Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, process flows, status reports, and presentations for stakeholders. Basic knowledge of project management principles, project schedules, risk tracking, action item management, and change control processes. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and other project management or portfolio management tools is preferred. Desired Skills and Expertise (Nice-to-Have) Experience supporting IT, Data Intelligence, Business Intelligence, or technology-focused projects. Familiarity with annual operating plans (AOP), portfolio budgeting, and project funding processes. Experience with Targetprocess or similar Agile planning tools.
