Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time caregiver to work the 2 PM to 10 PM shift. The caregiver will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes or within a facility, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. - Assist clients with mobility and transferring between different locations, ensuring their safety at all times. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals, adhering to dietary restrictions as needed. - Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records of medication schedules and client health information. - Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. - Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health status to the appropriate supervisor or family members. - Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. - Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulations. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. - Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles is highly desirable. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. - Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating reliable and responsible behavior. - Physical ability to assist clients and perform household tasks as required. - Availability to work full-time hours from 2 PM to 10 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.
