PopStroke currently has 20 locations across Florida, Texas, Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina, and Nevada with additional venues under development. Prep Cook Calling all high-fivers and high-rollers, we're on the hunt for enthusiastic individuals to be part of our epic team and help us craft unforgettable moments for our guests! Hourly Rate: $18-24 What you'll do Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating, following recipes and portion guidelines. Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste. Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth workflow during meal service. Notify the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies. Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation in all the kitchen areas, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, following food safety regulations. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure food quality and freshness. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies. Follow all safety procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Assist with dishwashing duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a prep cook in a high-volume environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
