As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and personnel. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.16 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Screen and document deliveries, pickups, and contractor access in accordance with site procedures while helping to deter unauthorized entry. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
