Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Altera Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Medical Records/Central Supply role. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate resident records, managing facility supplies, and providing administrative support to our nursing team.

This position will also serve as a backup scheduler , assisting with nursing staff schedules and staffing coverage as needed.

• Maintain and organize resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, confidential, and properly filed.

• Assist with maintaining required documentation, forms, and resident information.

• Order, receive, organize, and distribute nursing and medical supplies.

• Monitor supply inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.

• Communicate with nursing leadership regarding supply needs and inventory.

• Maintain accurate records of supply orders and deliveries.

• Serve as a backup scheduler and assist with preparing and maintaining nursing staff schedules when needed.

• Assist with schedule changes, call-offs, open shifts, and staffing coverage as assigned.

• Work closely with nursing leadership and other departments to support daily facility operations.

• Perform other administrative and nursing support duties as assigned.

• Current Alabama CNA certification in good standing required .

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Medical records, central supply, scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Excellent communication and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
