Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Roxbury, MA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting K-12 students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Located near the vibrant Roxbury, MA area, this dynamic role spans from July 6th, 2025, to August 7th, 2025, providing crucial services to help students reach their communication goals as they transition through the summer months.


Your workweek will consist of 30 hours, with 6-hour days from Monday to Friday. You'll have the chance to collaborate with a diverse student population, positively impacting their academic and personal success throughout the ESY program.


Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and SLP-CCC certification
• Experience working in K-12 school settings is highly valued
• Passionate about supporting students' growth in communication, social, and academic areas
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Safe Care Certification is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted assessment, therapy, and intervention services to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support IEP goals and ensure best practices
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Adapt strategies and interventions for a range of ages and ability levels
