Materials Coordinator

This is an entry-level, hands-on position focused on coordinating inventory, stocking, ordering, and supply distribution.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of supply inventory for an assigned hospital floor or area.
• Stock and replenish medical supplies and order supplies as PAR levels run low.
• Maintain accurate inventory and appropriate PAR levels.
• Keep supply rooms clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
• Rotate stock and remove expired products.
• Receive, distribute, and put away incoming supplies.
• Transport supplies, carts, and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Respond quickly to urgent supply requests from clinical teams.
• Assist with specialty carts, kits, and equipment restocking.
• Use inventory systems and handheld devices to track supplies and usage.
• Use basic computer skills and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as needed.
• Safely use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dock boards when needed.

What We're Looking For

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience

• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
• Experience in inventory, logistics, or related functions, highly preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet customer needs.
• Ability to learn inventory control software and use basic computer systems.
• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform frequent manual tasks, including bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements when using a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects weighing 21-50 pounds.

This is a physical, active role. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, walking hospital units, stocking supplies, and moving materials to help ensure clinical teams have what they need, when they need it.
