Perioperative Support Assistant

The Perioperative Support Assistant will assist with patient care and help transport patients. You will assist with transport/assist in discharging patients. Also assist providers and other personnel as needed.

Schedule:

32 hours/week across 4 days (MondayFriday). Specific working days vary weekly.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

• Clinical Support: Support providers and other clinical personnel during the transition of patients during the surgical process and daily operations.
• Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean, tidy, and properly stocked work area, including assisting with operating room (OR) turnover and cleaning/restocking supplies.
• Quality & Safety: Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and safety

WHAT YOU KNOW:

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BLS Certification
