Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NYS Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, Ventilator experience, 2 years tele and critical care experience, minimum 2 years RN experience, 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem), EPIC experience highly preferred, average unit census of 22 patients, staffing guideline 1:5, Schedule with weekends required. Required Skills: TELEMETRY NURSING, CRITICAL CARE NURSING, PATIENT CARE MANAGEMENT, PATIENT ASSESSMENT, INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION. Additional Skills: PATIENT EDUCATION, EPIC, TRAVEL NURSING EXPERIENCE, MODIFIED PRIMARY NURSING, EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE, PROCESS IMPROVEMENT, CHARGE NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program.
