Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantNavigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing company, having grown by 37% over the last three years and plans to continue growing. The firm is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant, to join the Accounting & Finance team in DTC and help the growing finance operations. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work on an Accounting & Finance team of five people - all in the DTC office. Hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime possible at busier times. Responsibilities:Review/manage the day-to-day outsourced accounting activities for the firm including A/R, A/P, Bank, Credit Card, and other account reconciliations.Perform journal entries as needed.Assist in performing financial planning and analysis on a monthly basis.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.1-3 years of accounting experience required.Understanding of GAAP.Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Bill.com & ADP is helpful but not required.The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized and motivated.Some excited to work from work and to be a part of a collaborative and high energy business.
