Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating schedule with every other weekend required
• Flexibility to meet department needs is essential

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in an ER setting
• Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department (over 100,000 visits/year) highly desirable
• Advanced certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI (prior to start), NIHSS, ENPC
• Strong teamwork mentality and capability to coach and provide feedback in real time
• Comfortable working with a diverse, multicultural community
• Must wear navy scrubs per department dress code

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient care to both adult and pediatric populations in a state-of-the-art emergency department with 101 beds
• Manage patient ratios typical at 4:1, sometimes up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Float within the ED to support various areas as needed
• Utilize technology such as Cerner for documentation, Baxter pumps, and GE monitors
• Collaborate with techs, monitor cardiac patients, and communicate effectively with unit clerks
• Uphold patient experience standards through AIDET and continuous communication with patients and families

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
