Registered Nurse (RN)A Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care while demonstrating clinical competence in various patient settings. This role includes both routine and complex patient care, with an emphasis on assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care aligned with the nursing process for assigned patients.Recognize and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.Assess the learning needs of patients and their families, providing appropriate education and resources.Delegate and assign tasks to other care providers as necessary for effective management of clinical situations.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)Minimum of one year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred)Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications requiredCurrent RN License in the state of Texas or multistate compact licensePosition RequirementsAll newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.New hires will be paired with a designated trained staff member for preceptorship, including completing specific competency validations.Ongoing education and competency verification will be required annually.Work ScheduleThis position requires working three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend availability.There is currently one position available due to a vacancy.Client Details City Longview State TX
