This role is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a direct impact on plant performance.Why Join Omya?Competitive pay and benefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off & HolidaysOvertime opportunitiesCareer advancement potentialSafety-focused cultureGlobal company with over 140 years of industry leadershipWhat You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Maintain and optimize production equipment to minimize downtime.Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.Perform equipment inspections, rebuilds, retrofits, and preventive maintenance.Support process instrumentation, drives, and control systems.Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.Train and support team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.Follow all plant safety and environmental standards.Required QualificationsAssociate Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with industrial equipment, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and process controls.Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.Strong computer and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Welding, pipefitting, millwright, or fabrication experience.Experience with instrumentation, VFDs, and manufacturing process equipment.Work EnvironmentManufacturing plant environment.Frequent walking, climbing, lifting, and equipment repair activities.Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.On-call availability for emergency maintenance support, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.We encourage experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, Electrical Technicians, Millwrights, Mechanical Technicians, and Manufacturing Maintenance Professionals in the greater Wathena, KS area to apply.At Omya, you'll join a team committed to safety, reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
