Group Exercise Instructor

We are looking for a knowledgeable and energetic fitness instructor who can teach innovative and engaging classes to our members. You will be in charge of planning and leading fitness classes for a variety of different-sized groups of people. While we want our classes to be physically challenging, we also place an emphasis on safety and meeting our members' individual fitness levels. Responsibilities: • Employ the use of social media and networking to promote studio programs, classes, and new memberships • Teach fitness classes to different-sized groups of fitness studio members and guests • Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions • Offer outstanding customer service in accordance with company policies • Deliver physically demanding classes while keeping students interested, engaged, and safe Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Currently certified as a fitness instructor • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Must be certified for the position you are applying for, i.e Yoga or Zumba. Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly
