- Record operated and non-operated revenue across all products
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of monthly revenue entries
- Prepare cash entries and reclassifications as needed
- Analyze accrual-to-actual variances and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and revenue reconciliations
- Conduct financial analysis to validate monthly entries and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
- Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies
- Implement appropriate internal controls to assure accounting integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and accounting software
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance
- Experience in the oil and gas industry and with ERP platforms like SAP
