Sr. Accountant

Job ID#: 38963 Position Summary Accountant Needed ASAP. Contract role at $35 hourly. Great Cypress location. Coverage for a medical leave. Accounting / Finance Control all company finances and manage company bank accounts Manage shipment billing and collection of receivables Ensure accounts payable is entered accurately and timely Approve payments to vendors Act as co-signer on checks Prepare monthly and quarterly financials Complete weekly/biweekly payroll Act as system manager and partner with outside IT firm Human Resources Set up new employees including company files and payroll Maintain employee files Update management on laws/regulations regarding human resources and payroll Administer insurance/benefits and 401(k) plans in partnership with broker; manage employee vacation and sick leave Work with security company and be responsible for adding/deleting employee security codes and entry/exit system Maintain Employee Manual Experience Needed 5+ years experience in a small to medium sized company in a similar role Great Excel skills Complete understanding of accounting principles Working knowledge of HR Prefer bilingual (English/German) M1 experience helpful #J-18808-Ljbffr
