Inpatient Acute Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

Job Description:

Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients condition.

Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents subjective objective and assessment findings and plans patient progress.

Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws state regulations and practice standards.

Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.

The salary range shown reflects the base salary for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience qualifications skills and market considerations.
