This position is responsible for completing deliveries, loading and unloading products, maintaining delivery documentation, and providing excellent customer service. You will be working for a well-established company in the food distribution industry that specializes in supplying high-quality food products to restaurants, retailers, and commercial customers.Benefits: 401KPaid time offSchedule:Flexible schedule requiredStart times may begin as early as 3:00 AMTypical shifts are 10 hours per dayTraining consists of five 8-hour shifts per week in San Francisco, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for one month.Responsibilities:Safely operate truck and complete scheduled deliveriesLoad, unload, and down-stack product at delivery locationsVerify delivery orders and maintain accurate delivery documentationConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsFollow all DOT and company safety regulationsProvide professional customer service at delivery sitesMaintain a clean and organized vehicleEnsure deliveries are completed safely and on timeRequirements:Valid Class C Driver's License requiredClass B Driver's License preferredMinimum of 3 years delivery experiencePrevious bobtail driving experience preferredAbility to down-stack and unload deliveries independentlyAbility to lift and move product throughout the shiftClean driving recordStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safetyAbility to work early morning start times and a flexible schedule
