Provide quality customer service for incoming sales and other related calls. Work with other departments to carry out similar work, refer difficulties to Estimating Manager. Follow up on all tasks to secure sales opportunities and ensure completion of work. Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.Essential Functions:Evaluate project needs and assess scope of work requirementsDevelop detailed scopes of work and project approach, delivery, and execution methodology descriptionsPrepare customized, time sensitive technical proposals with detailed estimatesInteract with company departments for input/review of proposals and resource planning/scheduling, etcSell and apply company manufactured products and professional services as applicableInteract with consulting engineers and clients regarding proposal requirementsDevelop and maintain resource information on products, suppliers, subcontractors, government requirements, etcEstablish and maintain business relationships (internal and external)Process product and professional services purchase orders and contractsFill out sales order entries and estimating reportsAttend scheduled and unscheduled project meetings as a representative of TescoTrack manufacturing process and update customersPrepare and track project change ordersMaintain customer relationships and attend outside functions with key accountsRespond promptly to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, and maintain confidentiality with project information and customer sensitive dataRequirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent applicable experience acceptableSuperior composition and technical writing skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Publisher and Access database experience is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of organizational skillsExceptional customer relations and networking skillsPreferred:Basic understanding of industrial controls and instrumentation (Manufacturing, Design, Programming, and Configuration)Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications.
