Position Summary
We are seeking a senior Cybersecurity Architect / Consultant to assess its developing technology environment, define the security architecture, establish technical guardrails, and provide ongoing oversight as infrastructure and software systems are implemented. This person will act as Framework's senior security authority while working closely with infrastructure engineers, developers, project leadership, and company leadership. This is not primarily a SOC, GRC, compliance, or audit role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an initial security assessment of the infrastructure, software, development, access, and data environments. Identify cybersecurity gaps, risks, and priorities.
• Develop the future-state security architecture and implementation roadmap.
• Design secure remote access for distributed and internationally located developers.
• Define IAM, MFA, RBAC, least privilege, authentication, authorization, encryption, and network segmentation requirements.
• Establish technical security standards and guardrails for developers.
• Define controls around repositories, source code, credentials, secrets, APIs, development environments, and proprietary data.
• Review networking, servers, local AI infrastructure, storage, and remote connectivity from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Establish requirements for logging, monitoring, hardening, vulnerability management, patching, endpoint protection, and incident response.
• Review infrastructure and development implementations to verify that security standards are being followed.
• Protect proprietary business information, custom software, AI assets, intellectual property, credentials, and other sensitive technology assets.
• Provide ongoing architectural reviews and security checkpoints as the environment evolves.
• Communicate technical risks and recommendations clearly to leadership.

Qualifications



Required :

• Approximately 8 to 12+ years of cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, infrastructure security, or closely related experience.
• Demonstrated experience assessing environments and designing security architecture.
• Strong experience with IAM, secure remote access, MFA, RBAC, least privilege, encryption, segmentation, and network security.
• Experience securing private, hybrid, on-premises, or locally controlled infrastructure.
• Experience defining security standards for software developers and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring, secrets management, repository security, and secure development practices.
• Ability to provide practical technical guidance rather than limiting involvement to policy or compliance.
• Experience communicating with both engineers and business leadership

Preferred :

• Experience securing private AI/ML infrastructure or locally hosted AI systems. DevSecOps, application security, API security, or secure SDLC experience.
• Apple/macOS and Linux environments. VPN, ZTNA, bastion hosts, secure tunnels, and remote development environments.
• Experience securing globally distributed development teams.
• Experience establishing cybersecurity programs or architecture in startup or early-stage environments.
• Fractional security leadership or consulting experience.
