Quality Assurance Test Lead

Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution. The Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead. The Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for leading onshore and offshore people. This person is considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. He/she can lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation. The Quality Assurance Test Lead can track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools. Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Level III and minimum 5-10 years’ experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience with system testing, including developing test strategy, feature validation, problem troubleshooting and E2E performance analysis
• Proven experience in defining and developing validation and verification environments for 4G/5G Cellular mobile networks
• Extensive hands-on working knowledge of 3GPP 4G/5G Standards in RAN and Core and the Different interfaces
• Detailed understanding of PHY MAC RLC RRC and PDCP layers
• Good understanding of 5G NR SA, Air interfaces, Call Processing, vRAN/O-RAN architecture
• Experience developing and troubleshooting test scripts using wireless network test tools
• Hands-on experience capturing logs for analysis and troubleshooting
• Integrate and test RAN and 5GC with real and simulated UE for performance and load testing
• Tools: X-CAP, X-CAL, QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, Network / Ue Emulators, Netscout Session Analyzer Tools
• Nice to have test automation and python scripting skill
• Self-starter highly motivated and ability to work without supervision
• Well organized with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills

Must Be:

• This contractual position is for mid-level candidates having 10+ years of expertise in RAN
• Ready to relocate to Colorado
• No remote work, candidates have to be present in the lab during work hours
