(USA) Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex Position Summary Overnight Stocking Coach, Non–Complex – Sterling Heights, MI. Responsibilities Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tours, teaches, and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance for implementing business solutions and communicating objectives effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, and manages and supports customer service initiatives. Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing and assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, mitigating shrink and ensuring sales and profit goals. Provides supervision, development, hiring, training, and mentoring for hourly associates, setting clear expectations, recognizing achievements, and promoting a belonging mindset. Coordinates job‑related activities, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and supports plans to meet customer and business needs. Maintains compliance with company policies, supports the Open Door Policy, and models integrity, ethics, and a regenerative mindset. Serves customers and members, applies business models to all plans, and makes decisions based on data insights, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities. Strives for excellence, drives continuous improvements, and encourages learning from mistakes. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition facilities: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U. Supervising 5 or more direct reports, with responsibilities in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Compensation Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) or Complex Structure based on external factors.
