Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery role in a well-supported Birthing Center. Provide high-quality maternal and newborn care following AWHONN staffing guidelines. Manage a unit with 5 L&D beds, 2 OR suites, and postpartum rooms, serving diverse patient populations including labor, antepartum, postpartum, GYN surgical patients, and neonates. Follow staffing ratios of 1:1 active labor, up to 1:3 for antepartum/triage, and 1:6 mother-baby, with 24/7 charge nurse coverage and support staff. Utilize OBIX EFM system, neonatal respiratory equipment, and other technology; telemetry not used. Work 12-hour night shifts, typically consistent schedule, with every other weekend and holiday requirements, plus call duties. Qualifications include active Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring competency, and minimum 1-year OB/L&D experience (2 years preferred). BSN is a plus. Orientation includes 2 shifts; hospital-provided scrubs required. Offers competitive pay ($34.25–$51.13/hr), a $20,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a mission-driven environment.
