Technician Helper

About the Role:

SERVPRO of Camarillo is looking for a motivated and hardworking Technician Helper to join our restoration team in Camarillo, CA. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside experienced technicians to help families and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage. Responsibilities:

• Assist lead technicians with water, fire, and mold remediation and restoration services
• Set up and operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air movers on job sites
• Perform demolition, debris removal, and cleanup tasks as directed
• Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles
• Follow safety protocols and SERVPRO procedures on every job
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site
• Document job progress and assist with inventory of equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• No prior experience required — a willingness to learn and work hard is a must
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Comfortable working in emergency and disaster restoration environments
• Strong work ethic with a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Availability for on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
