Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working within a high school setting. Background as a Student Assistance Counselor or similar role preferred. Proficiency with individual and group counseling techniques. Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families. Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and crisis intervention strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students. Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions. Collaborate with school staff to design and implement support strategies. Develop and facilitate prevention and education programs addressing substance use, mental health, and academic resilience. Assist students and families in connecting to community resources. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and progress. Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote a safe and supportive environment.
