Logistics Coordinator

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Location: Valencia, CA (Onsite) Schedule: Full-Time We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Receiving & Shipping Associate to support a high-volume laboratory operation. This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, staging, and preparing inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials are handled according to established procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with offloading inbound shipments at the loading dock Sort incoming shipments by temperature requirements (ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and combination shipments) Process and handle temperature monitoring devices according to procedures Inspect, sort, and stage incoming laboratory shipments Move containers, bins, and materials throughout the facility Report shipment discrepancies, damaged shipments, or empty containers Prepare shipping containers and packaging materials for outbound carrier pickups Collect and manage dry ice bins and shipping supplies Assist laboratory departments with preparing outbound shipments Assemble, package, label, and stage shipments for courier and carrier pickup Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company quality, safety, and operational procedures Requirements Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or laboratory support preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic computer skills preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work around temperature-controlled shipments, including refrigerated and frozen materials Benefits Weekly Pay Holiday Pay After 60 days: Health, Dental, Vision, GAP, Short Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Life Insurance Milestone Bonus of 40 hours for every 1400 hours #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo-Resources
