Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and efficient Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess current Hawaii RN licensure and relevant certifications to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients in the ER, including trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, and pediatric cases.
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on condition severity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Monitor patient status, including cardiac rhythms and vital signs, utilizing monitoring equipment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Hawaii RN license and obtain an active Hawaii license upon acceptance of the assignment.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; additional certifications such as Procedural Sedation, TMCC, or EMPC are preferred.
• Demonstrate previous ER nursing experience in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• Show strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs.
• Exhibit excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
