Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - PRN

Job Title Cares for patients in nursing home under direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follows all nursing home policies and procedures governing the care of the resident Answers call lights, safety alarms or paging system to determine patients' needs Bathes, dresses, and undresses patients Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring assistance Transports patients or assists patients to walk Assists patients during examinations and treatments, and remains with patients to perform such duties as holding instruments and adjusting lights Turns and repositions bedfast patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent pressure ulcers Changes bed linens, empties trash cans, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed All Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) must be accurately documented using either computerized means (or manual as necessary) Other duties may be assigned Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current Colorado Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) certificate To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
