Program Manager, Food & Beverage (Beverage, Baking & Prepared Foods)

Job Summary The Program Manager will be responsible for growing Messer's sales and profit in the Bakery and Prepared Foods market segment through application technology. They will be responsible to develop a market strategy and action plan that can be executed by the Application Sales and Account Management teams. Other responsibilities include monitoring future industry trends, driving application development, managing new product launches and developing Application Sales team members. Why Messer? Principal Responsibilities Grow Messer's sales and profit in the Bakery and Prepared Foods market segment through sales of application technology. Develop segment strategy and implement a tactical action plan to grow the Bakery and Prepared Foods segment. Manage the P&L for the industry segment. Develop a deep understanding of industry trends in order to direct sales & marketing activities and identify innovation opportunities. Train and develop the Application Sales Engineers and Account Managers nationally in the relevant application technologies. Directly manage a number of Application Sales Engineers and drive their overall performance. Responsible to implement related Marketing activities including advertising, developing case studies, selecting Tradeshows, and presenting technical. Oversee applications start-up activities with the Application Sales Engineers. Participate in and approve project budget. Participate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with adopted environmental, safety and technical code. Minimum of 50% travel Preferred Qualifications Master's degree is a plus Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $180,000.
