Proficient in various critical care procedures and technologies
Knowledgeable in respiratory care and ventilator management


Description:
This position requires a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to work in a multidisciplinary intensive care unit.
The nurse will be responsible for caring for critically ill patients and managing complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities include obtaining and interpreting 12-lead EKGs and managing central venous pressure monitoring.
The nurse will administer blood products and manage central lines and PICC lines.
Strong skills in starting and maintaining IVs and administering continuous IV sedation are essential.
The ideal candidate will assist with the management of vented patients and perform suctioning as needed.
The RN will also be involved in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing patients with respiratory failure.
Infection prevention and the use of isolation precautions are critical aspects of this role.
Experience with phlebotomy and care of surgical wounds is required.
Candidates must be comfortable floating within service lines when necessary.
This position requires working every other weekend.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.
