Manager - Human Resources

Position Summary The Manager, Human Resources will lead and manage all core HR functions while serving as a strategic business partner to leadership. This role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support organizational goals, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture. The position oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and workforce planning. Job Responsibilities Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business priorities. Advise management on HR policies, employee relations, and organizational change. Lead workforce planning and talent strategy. Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding. Collaborate with leaders to ensure timely and effective hiring. Manage relationships with external recruiters and talent partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters. Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions. Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives. Oversee performance management, goal setting, and review cycles. Manage compensation programs ensuring pay equity and market competitiveness. Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend compensation adjustments. Oversee payroll accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws. Administer benefits programs and address employee inquiries. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Manage HRIS, reporting, and people analytics. Skills and Qualifications Candidates with 10to 12 years of progressive Human Resource Experience preferable within steel, mining, heavyindustry, energy or large infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR best practices. High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency with HRIS platforms. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Education Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree or professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred. Salary Range $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
