ADMIN/BOOKKEEPER/PITTS

Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Pittsburgh, PA to hire a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant. This opportunity is available on a direct-hire or contract-to-hire basis and offers the chance to support both accounting and administrative operations within a collaborative, stable environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and enter invoices into the accounts payable system with a high level of accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process vendor payments on a consistent schedule
  • Assist with audits and help ensure compliance across multiple locations
  • Maintain well-organized financial records (digital and physical)
  • Provide bookkeeping and administrative support to the finance team
  • Support general office operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or 2+ years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics or similar preferred)
  • Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Ability to pass a background check
