Call Center Specialist

Our client, a leader in the healthcare field, is seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Service & Operations Representative. This role plays a critical part in handling member inquiries, resolving service complaints, and coordinating essential services like transportation.

salary: $24 - $25 per hour

work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Call Management: Place outbound calls regarding account status and complaints, while handling incoming calls for general inquiries and service recovery. Direct complex issues for further problem resolution as needed.
• Call Documentation: Accurately document all inbound and outbound interactions, member details, and resolution steps in our internal tracking systems.
• Transportation Coordination: Help set up and schedule transportation services for members within our internal ordering system.
• Service Recovery: Utilize strong de-escalation skills to handle member complaints thoughtfully and maintain high standards of service recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience in a call center and customer service environment; background in service recovery is required.
• Core Skills: Excellent phone demeanor, strong customer service mindset, and sharp attention to detail.
• Systems Knowledge: No specific software experience is required (we will train you on our systems). Prior experience with EPIC or internal member benefits eligibility systems is a plus.
