Real Estate Construction Project Manager

Spectrum’s Real Estate Project Manager oversees a diverse portfolio of construction and renovation initiatives, guiding teams and stakeholdersthroughevery stage. HowYou’llMake an Impact Lead projects from initial planning to implementation, managing operational details and securing stakeholder alignment Apply project management methodologies to deliver projects on schedule, within budget and in line with Spectrum’s quality standards Communicate updates to internal customers, collect feedback and report on project progress Oversee data collection, cost tracking, performancemetricsand service levels to meet project objectives Provide subject matterexpertisefor structural,electricaland mechanical issues, supporting other real estate functions such as facility management and strategic planning Develop strategic approaches to contracted workforces, manage budgets and capital development, and serve as the central interface for translating planning requests into engineering objectives Write funding documents, manage accounting codes, supervise vendors and consultants, enforce contracttermsand oversee zoning andpermittingprocesses Serve as the escalation point for warranty issues and support continuous improvement across all assigned projects Working Conditions Office-based with occasional travel Availability required during all construction hours, including nights and weekends for on-site presence as necessary WhatYou’llBring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or related field Experience 5+ years of project management experience Skills Ability to communicate clearly in English with employees, customers and suppliers in person, on the phone and in writing Strong relationship-building skills Critical thinking and analytical skills Effective performance in fast-paced environments Data analysis and interpretation Project managementexpertisein design,constructionand contract management Organizational skills for prioritizing and managing multiple projects Self-starter capable of working independently Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities Experience with architectural and engineering services coordination Ability to interpret design plans and specifications Knowledge of mechanical,electricaland structural systems Proficiencyin MS Word, MS Excel, MSPowerPointand MS Project; familiarity with AutoCAD desirableandhas the ability tolearn proprietary software programs Understanding of construction means and methods Capability to manage simultaneous complex, multi-million dollar projects Preferred Qualifications Education Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum preferred Skills Knowledge of building codes Administrative and technical skills, including interpreting industry environmental standards for telecommunications and electronic data systems Understandingofconstruction cost estimating, life cycle costing and value engineering in design and construction phases Familiarity with site work retention, grading,drainageand zoning/site acceptability Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they’re building careers.
