Property Coverage Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Property Coverage Attorney to join their team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess exceptional research and writing skills. Duties Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions, and provide recommendations for clients. Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients. Analyze documents for litigation purposes. Conduct legal research using Westlaw. Prepare and respond to written discovery. Draft pleadings and briefs. Conduct and defend depositions. Attend and advocate at hearings and mediations. Requirements Admitted to practice law; California bar admission strongly preferred. Experience in insurance coverage. Excellent academic credentials and/or solid work history. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills. Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
